About Us
We are a growing fiber engineering and network design firm serving major US-based telecom clients. As we scale operations in India, we're looking for proactive and detail-driven FTTX Design Interns to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building accurate fiber network designs (FTTH, backbone, and distribution) using VETRO FiberMap and IQGEO
- Interpret field inputs, redlines, and GIS data to support production of high-quality design packages
- Perform address validation, route planning, and network documentation using GIS platforms
- Assist in preparing construction-ready plans, splice diagrams, and permit documents
- Support cross-checking of design consistency across projects and ensure delivery meets internal standards
- Collaborate with US-based engineering and design review teams
Key Requirements
- Pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Geospatial Science, or a related field
- Exposure to VETRO FiberMap and/or IQGEO is strongly preferred
- Basic familiarity with fiber design concepts (FTTH, GPON, LLD/HLD)
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, field sketches, and design standards
- Solid attention to detail, consistency, and a process-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to QGIS and/or ArcGIS for spatial data visualization
- Interest in or awareness of US-based telecom network design practices
- Familiarity with splice diagrams, make-ready engineering (MRE), and permitting deliverables
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multi-location teams
