Key Responsibilities1. Cambridge & IB Curriculum
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS & A Levels, IB MYP, and IB Diploma Programme (IBDP).
- Understand curriculum frameworks, learning objectives, assessment methodologies, examination structures, marking criteria, rubrics, and academic expectations.
- Guide teachers on the differences between Cambridge, IB, and traditional teaching approaches.
- Ensure educators understand curriculum and assessment requirements.
2. Teacher Training & Development
- Design and conduct teacher training and professional development programs.
- Train educators on:
- Cambridge & IB curriculum frameworks
- Assessment objectives and marking schemes
- Command words and question interpretation
- Exam-oriented teaching strategies
- Student-centred and inquiry-based learning
- Concept-based teaching
- Differentiated instruction
- Formative and summative assessment
- Lesson planning

- Conduct workshops, refresher training, and performance-improvement programs.
3. Teacher Onboarding & Assessment
- Develop and manage structured academic onboarding for new teachers.
- Assess teachers' existing Cambridge/IB curriculum knowledge.
- Identify training and development gaps.
- Conduct mock teaching sessions and evaluate lesson plans.
- Provide structured feedback and development plans.
- Ensure teachers meet required academic standards before being assigned students.
4. Teacher Quality & Academic Excellence
- Conduct teacher observations and teaching evaluations.
- Review lesson plans and teaching demonstrations.
- Monitor student feedback and academic performance.
- Conduct periodic teacher competency assessments.
- Identify curriculum and teaching gaps and create remediation plans.
- Maintain teacher performance and quality records.
5. People Operations
- Manage employee onboarding and induction.
- Maintain employee records and documentation.
- Manage attendance and leave processes.
- Coordinate performance reviews.
- Maintain training calendars and records.
- Support employee engagement initiatives.
- Handle HR communication and confidential employee information.
- Support recruitment and selection activities.
6. Recruitment & Academic Hiring
- Work with leadership to identify educator hiring requirements.
- Screen and evaluate teacher profiles.
- Assess Cambridge/IB curriculum exposure during recruitment.
- Conduct initial interviews.
- Design or coordinate academic screening assessments.
- Conduct or coordinate teaching demonstrations.
- Evaluate curriculum knowledge and identify training requirements.
- Build and maintain an educator talent pipeline.
7. Training & Knowledge Management
- Create monthly and annual teacher development calendars.
- Maintain records of training, attendance, assessments, feedback, and post-training performance.
- Develop and maintain:
- Curriculum guides
- Teacher handbooks
- Training presentations
- Assessment resources
- Lesson-planning templates
- Academic SOPs
- Teacher FAQs
- Curriculum comparison documents
8. People & Culture
- Conduct regular employee/teacher check-ins.
- Understand and address employee concerns.
- Support conflict resolution.
- Improve internal communication and employee engagement.
- Promote continuous professional development.
- Build a culture of professionalism, accountability, ownership, and student-first thinking.
9. Operations & Process Improvement
- Develop and improve SOPs and internal processes.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Improve teacher onboarding and communication workflows.
- Maintain training and performance dashboards.
- Coordinate between academic, admissions, and operations teams.
- Ensure timely completion of operational activities.

Preferred Profiles
Candidates with experience as:

Mandatory Requirements
- Demonstrable practical knowledge of both Cambridge and IB curricula.
- Ability to train and mentor experienced teachers.
- Strong understanding of international assessment methodologies.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Strong people-management and interpersonal skills.
- High ownership, accountability, and organisational ability.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Willingness to work on-site in Pimpri, Pune.
