Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Design & Application Engineer – Diesel Generator Set with strong experience in genset design/application engineering, electrical panels, power systems and EPC projects.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and configuring diesel generator sets, developing technical solutions, reviewing tender specifications and supporting proposal/project execution requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure Diesel Generator Sets, engines, alternators, control panels and switchgear.
- Design and integrate electrical, cooling, ventilation, exhaust, fuel and acoustic systems.
- Prepare 2D/3D CAD designs, installation layouts, wiring diagrams and electrical/mechanical schematics.
- Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and power system designs.
- Perform noise, ventilation and structural calculations.
- Prepare BoQ for gensets, accessories, control systems and installation materials.
- Review tender technical specifications and prepare technical submissions.
- Evaluate site conditions including climate, altitude, space and seismic requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable local regulations and international standards.
- Provide technical support and clarifications during the tender/proposal stage.

Candidate Profile
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Diesel Genset Design/Application Engineering, Electrical Panels, EPC or Power Systems.
- Strong technical understanding of genset configuration, electrical systems and power generation applications.
- Experience in Data Center / Mission Critical projects will be an advantage.
- Good technical documentation and analytical skills.
