About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong PostgreSQL experience to join our engineering team and work on scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working deeply with data, optimizing queries, and designing efficient database systems.
Experience in .NET Core development will be a strong advantage, as you’ll collaborate closely with backend teams building APIs and business logic layers.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL databases
- Write complex SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures
- Handle database performance tuning and query optimization
- Design schemas and ensure data integrity and scalability
- Support backend teams with data modeling and query design
- Troubleshoot production database issues and improve reliability
- Collaborate with developers on feature enhancements and releases
- Maintain documentation for database architecture and standards
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
- Strong knowledge of SQL, indexing, and query optimization
- Experience in database design and schema modeling
- Design Enterprise-Grade SPs, Functions to execute complex business logic efficiently
- Good understanding of transactional systems and data consistency
- Experience working in Agile / collaborative development environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good to Have (Plus)
- Experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
- Exposure to REST APIs and backend service development
- Knowledge of ORMs like Entity Framework or Dapper
- Experience with performance monitoring and tuning tools
- Familiarity with cloud-hosted databases (Azure / AWS)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
