Location: Mayur Vihar Phase 1
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cutting Master to handle fabric cutting operations with precision as per design specifications, measurements, and production requirements. The candidate will be responsible for pattern understanding, fabric utilization, marker planning, and ensuring quality cutting for garment production.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fabric Cutting & Pattern Execution
- Understand garment designs, measurements, and patterns.
- Cut fabrics accurately as per approved measurements and patterns.
- Ensure minimum fabric wastage through proper planning.
- Handle manual and machine cutting efficiently.
2. Measurement & Fitting Accuracy
- Take and verify garment measurements.
- Ensure proper size grading and measurement consistency.
- Coordinate with tailoring/design team for fitting corrections.
3. Pattern Understanding
- Read and understand patterns and design layouts.
- Modify patterns as required by production needs.
- Maintain pattern records and templates.
4. Production Coordination
- Coordinate with tailors and production staff for smooth workflow.
- Ensure timely cutting as per production deadlines.
- Plan daily cutting targets.
5. Quality Control
- Check fabric defects before cutting.
- Ensure clean, accurate, and damage-free cutting.
- Maintain quality standards in production.
6. Inventory & Fabric Management
- Track fabric consumption.
- Report fabric shortages or damage.
- Maintain proper stock usage records.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of garment measurement and pattern cutting.
- Experience in cutting ethnic wear, western wear, costumes, or designer wear.
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their behavior.
- Good understanding of marker planning and fabric saving.
- Attention to detail and finishing.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
