Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder / Fitter to join our SPM manufacturing team. The candidate should have strong knowledge in fabrication, welding, fitting, and 2D drawing interpretation. The role involves supporting fabrication activities, guiding welders based on drawings, and ensuring accurate assembly as per project requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Read and understand 2D mechanical drawings accurately for fabrication and assembly work.
- Guide welders regarding correct dimensions, alignment, and welding requirements as per drawing specifications.
- Perform fitting, marking, cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembly activities.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in TIG Welding, MIG Welding, and ARC Welding.
- Ensure proper weld quality, structural accuracy, and finishing standards.
- Support fabrication and machine assembly activities for SPM machines and industrial projects.
- Coordinate with production and design teams to complete fabrication work on time.
- Inspect fabricated parts and correct any dimensional or welding-related issues.
- Handle tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machines safely.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain workplace discipline.
- Support site installation and machine erection work whenever required.
Required Skills :
- Strong knowledge in fabrication and fitting work
- Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings
- Experience in TIG / MIG / ARC Welding
- Knowledge in measuring instruments and fabrication tools
- Basic understanding of machine assembly
- Good teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Candidate Profile :
- Experience : 2 to 5 Years
- Industry : SPM / Fabrication / Engineering / Manufacturing
- Qualification : ITI / Diploma / Relevant Technical Qualification
- Immediate joiners preferred
