Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems based on project requirements.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or CATIA.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation.
- Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams for product development and manufacturing support.
- Review and improve existing designs to enhance performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering (can be adjusted based on requirement).
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and materials.
- Experience in preparing technical drawings and design documentation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
