Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machines, equipment, and components. The role involves working closely with production, quality, maintenance, and project teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions throughout the product or project lifecycle.lhh+1
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, machines, tools, and equipment using CAD software.
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, bills of materials, and project documentation.
- Analyze mechanical problems and recommend practical and cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct testing, inspection, evaluation, and performance improvement of mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues and reduce equipment downtime.
- Support manufacturing, installation, commissioning, repair, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure that designs and processes meet quality, safety, statutory, and company requirements.
- Review materials, fabrication methods, tolerances, and assembly procedures.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, costs, and technical deliverables.
- Work with vendors and suppliers for technical discussions, quotations, and material procurement.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate engineering records.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, maintenance, materials, and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or other relevant CAD software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of basic GD&T, fabrication, machining, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics is desirable.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office, particularly Excel and technical report preparation.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in mechanical design, production, plant maintenance, fabrication, automobile, HVAC, machinery, or industrial equipment.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, quality inspections, vendor coordination, and project execution.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered for junior positions.
