An Office Boy handles essential administrative tasks, pantry management, and basic errands to ensure smooth, efficient daily operations in a workplace. Their duties span office maintenance, document handling, and providing support to staff members
Key Responsibilities
· Office Maintenance: Ensure the workplace, meeting rooms, and pantry are clean, tidy, and hygienic.
· Pantry & Hospitality: Prepare and serve beverages (tea, coffee, water) to staff, management, and visitors, and manage the inventory of pantry supplies.
· Document & Mail Handling: Sort, distribute, and collect internal and external mail, documents, couriers, and parcels.
· Clerical Support: Perform basic office tasks like photocopying, scanning, filing, and shredding.
· Outdoor Errands: Visit banks, post offices, and local vendors to pay utility bills, submit documents, or purchase office supplies.
· Inventory Management: Monitor the stock of stationery and pantry items, notifying management when reordering is required.
Typical Requirements & Qualifications
· Education: Minimum 10th or 12th-grade pass (SSC/HSC).
· Experience: Previous experience in a peon, housekeeping, or clerical role is a plus but generally not mandatory.
· Skills: Good communication skills, punctuality, trustworthiness, and basic multitasking abilities.
· Physical Ability: Capability to lift light office supplies and perform tasks that require physical movement.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
