Asahi Diamond Industrial India Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and hands-on Plant Setup & Operations Manager to lead the setup and operational management of our upcoming manufacturing facility in Pune.
The ideal candidate should have experience in greenfield plant setup, manufacturing operations, production planning, manpower handling, vendor coordination, and process implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead factory setup, machinery installation, and commissioning activities
- Manage day-to-day plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and dispatch
- Handle workforce management for 20–30 employees
- Implement SOPs, process controls, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing practices
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments
- Ensure operational efficiency, safety compliance, and productivity improvement
Requirements
- BE/ Diploma in Engineering
- 8–15 years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations
- Prior experience in plant setup or factory expansion projects preferred
- Strong leadership and operational management skills
- Experience in engineering, industrial tools, automotive, CNC, or precision manufacturing industries preferred
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
