Job Summary
Technosoft Engineering Projects Ltd. is seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Civil 3D modeling, civil drafting, and industrial site development projects. The candidate must be proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and have a strong understanding of US civil engineering standards and design practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate civil surface models using Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Prepare and maintain 2D civil engineering drawings and construction documentation.
- Produce detailed civil design drawings for industrial and commercial site development projects.
- Develop grading plans, earthwork models, and site layouts.
- Design and draft storm drainage collection systems, retention and detention systems.
- Prepare potable water distribution and sanitary sewer collection system layouts.
- Develop geometric roadway layouts and related civil infrastructure drawings.
- Coordinate with Civil Engineers and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable US Local, State, and Federal Codes & Standards.
- Review and update drawings based on engineering comments and client requirements.
- Maintain drawing quality, accuracy, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Senior-level experience as a Civil Designer.
- Proficiency in:
- Autodesk Civil 3D
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Strong knowledge of civil surface modeling and 2D drafting using Autodesk Civil 3D.
- General understanding of US Civil Engineering Codes & Standards.
