Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic SEO Manager with 5–8 years of experience to lead end-to-end SEO operations, manage the on-floor SEO team, drive performance standards, and build scalable processes for successful delivery and measurable organic growth. The role also includes leveraging AI-driven SEO strategies, Large Language Models (LLMs), and emerging search technologies to enhance content performance, automate workflows, and improve search visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- SEO Strategy & Growth: Plan and execute SEO strategies aligned with business goals to drive organic growth through keyword research, competitor analysis, link building, and performance optimization.
- Team Leadership & Operations: Lead, mentor, and manage the on-floor SEO team, ensuring workflow efficiency, productivity, and performance standards.
- AI, LLM & SEO Automation: Implement AI-driven SEO, LLM strategies, and automation workflows to enhance content performance, reporting, audits, and search visibility.
- Project & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure timely project delivery, lead client performance reviews, present SEO strategies, manage stakeholder expectations, and handle escalations.
- Technical SEO & Optimization: Oversee technical audits, website optimization, indexing, crawlability, schema implementation, and overall technical performance.
- Performance Monitoring & Forecasting: Establish KPIs, monitor SEO performance, and develop traffic forecasts and ROI projections based on keyword opportunities and competitive landscape.
- Multi-Language & International SEO: Manage SEO strategies for multi-region and multi-language websites, including localization and international targeting (if applicable).
- Technical Audit & Sales Support: Prepare detailed technical SEO audit reports for new client pitches, including keyword analysis, competitor benchmarking, gap analysis, and growth roadmap.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting: Work with content, development, and marketing teams while providing strategic insights and performance reports to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement & Issue Resolution: Develop scalable SEO processes and SOPs, identify risks, resolve performance issues, and stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of SEO experience in the digital marketing domain with strong team management experience. (Minimum 3+ years agency experience is a plus) .
- SEO & Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, content strategy, link building, website structure, CMS platforms, schema implementation, and structured data testing.
- SEO Tools & Analytics: Experience using GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and similar SEO tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Growth & Performance Focus: Strong understanding of conversion-focused SEO, organic lead generation, performance tracking, SEO forecasting, and ability to set measurable performance targets to drive organic growth and search visibility.
- Leadership & Technology Skills: Ability to lead teams, manage projects and stakeholders, meet deadlines, and understanding of AI-driven SEO and emerging search technologies.
