About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Team Lead – Business Development & Account Executive to lead a team of SDRs while actively contributing to pipeline generation and revenue growth. This is a player-coach role where you will be responsible for driving outbound prospecting efforts, managing the sales cycle, coaching team members, and ensuring the achievement of both pipeline and revenue targets.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in B2B sales, outbound prospecting, lead generation, and deal closing, along with proven experience managing and mentoring sales teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of SDRs to achieve activity, pipeline, and revenue goals.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, coaching sessions, call reviews, and performance feedback discussions.
- Monitor team performance across cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and WhatsApp engagement.
- Drive accountability through activity tracking, pipeline reviews, and KPI management.
- Identify skill gaps and implement coaching plans to improve prospecting, objection handling, qualification, and closing skills.
- Ensure CRM hygiene, data accuracy, and adherence to sales processes.
- Escalate operational blockers and provide regular performance updates to leadership.
Business Development & Sales Execution
- Identify and engage prospective clients through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, challenges, and business objectives.
- Present and demonstrate products/services while tailoring solutions to customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts to secure new business.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer retention.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide forecasting updates.
Process Improvement & Strategy
- Analyze outreach performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
- Refine prospecting strategies, messaging, and sales sequences to improve pipeline generation.
- Use pipeline and activity data to make informed decisions and adjust team strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and sales effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of overall experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
- Minimum 1 year of experience leading or mentoring a sales development or business development team.
- Strong experience in cold calling, outbound email campaigns, LinkedIn prospecting, and WhatsApp outreach.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding pipeline and revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS, IT Services, Staffing, HR Tech, FinTech, BFSI, or other B2B industries.
- Prior experience as an SDR before transitioning into leadership.
- Experience handling SMB, Mid-Market, or Enterprise accounts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret pipeline and performance data.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
