We are looking for a responsible and technically skilled Site Engineer to supervise residential construction projects in Visakhapatnam and ensure that all site activities are completed according to approved drawings, quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at residential project sites.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, structural consultants, and vendors.
- Monitor the quality of civil, structural, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, and finishing works.
- Check measurements, material requirements, and workmanship at every stage.
- Plan and coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and site activities.
- Identify and resolve site-related technical issues in coordination with the project team.
- Maintain daily site reports, work progress updates, measurements, and material records.
- Ensure proper utilization of materials and minimize wastage.
- Monitor project progress and report delays or challenges to the management.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and construction standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and coordinate rectification of defective works.
- Coordinate with clients during site visits and provide professional progress updates.
- Support billing, quantity verification, and contractor work certification.
- Ensure proper site cleanliness, safety, and overall project discipline.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in residential construction or related projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Good knowledge of measurements, estimation, and quantity checking.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage workers, contractors, and multiple site activities.
- Proficiency in English; Telugu language skills are essential.
- Willingness to travel to different project sites in and around Visakhapatnam.
- A valid driving licence and own two-wheeler are preferred.
