About the Role:
This is a US Mortgage Title Insurance Closing role involving closing/funding document review, escrow & notary coordination, tax/payoff verification, and QA/process auditing before mortgage loan closing.
Job Specification:
- 2-3 year in Title Insurance Closing.
- Closing/Funding and HUDs, Notary services experience.
- Knowledge about HUD-1 Statement, Closing disclosures Deeds, Payoff and Title Commitment.
- Concept of order scheduling and basics of Notary functionalities.
- Need to know the Proactive and Reactive Funding process along with DOP concepts.
- Thorough understanding of the mortgage closing process, including document preparation, compliance requirements, and regulatory issues (TRID, RESPA, etc.).
- Knowledge about Property tax
- Knowledge about Title Charges, Recording Fee, State & county Tax, Payoff Interest Calculation and Supporting Documents
- Document knowledge like Payoff, Subordination, Tax Certificate, Clear to close, Deed, HELOC, Secured and Unsecured Loan etc.
- Should have knowledge about the escrow services and the notary services about the closing procedure.
- Ability to analyse the notary follow up process to understand whether the signing is completed or reassigned.
- Knowledge about the call listening is an added advantage to listen notary call backs.
- Should know Documents- CD doc, Payoff Doc, Commitment Doc, Tax Doc, 1003 Doc, Payoff calculation, State Specification Guidelines.
- Atclose application, county taxes sites experience preferred.
- Nationwide State expertise would be added advantage.
