C. JOB SUMMARY
Carries out routine NDT activities at the factory under the supervision of the NDT Engineer, ensuring timely testing of manufactured products before dispatch.
D. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform MT, PT, UT, and PMI testing on manufactured fittings and welded components
2. Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment as per procedure
3. Record test results accurately and submit to NDT Engineer for review
4. Follow all safety precautions and PPE requirements during testing activities
5. Prepare consumable usage logs and report stock requirements
6. Assist NDT Engineer during third-party inspection witness tests
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the NDT work area
8. Report any abnormal findings immediately to the supervising engineer
E. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education:
ITI / Diploma (Mechanical) + NDT Level II certification (MT/PT/UT/PMI)
Experience:
1–4 years in NDT as a technician in manufacturing or fabrication
Technical Skills:
NDT Level II — MT, PT, UT, and PMI mandatory / ASME Sec V awareness
Soft Skills:
Physically fit for factory environment / Disciplined work approach / Good observation skills
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
