Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and target-oriented Business Development Officer (BDO) to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting our Hospital Management Software solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to client onboarding, while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits, networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Meet hospital administrators, doctors, and management teams to understand their operational requirements.
- Present and demonstrate Hospital Management Software (HMS) solutions to prospective clients.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead qualification, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations.
- Coordinate with Pre-Sales, Implementation, and Support teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate sales records and update CRM regularly.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates to management.
Required Skills

- Basic understanding of software or IT solution sales.
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and travel for client meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- MBA is an added advantage.
- 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Healthcare IT sales preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication and strong sales aptitude may also apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Hospital Management Software (HMS), Healthcare IT, Medical Equipment, or SaaS Sales.
- Understanding of hospital workflows and healthcare operations.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
