Commis II – Job Description
Department: Kitchen / Food Production
Location: The Manor, Naldehra
Reports To: Commis I / Chef de Partie / Sous Chef
Job Summary
The Commis II assists in basic food preparation and supports the kitchen team in maintaining quality, hygiene, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of ingredients, vegetables, sauces, and basic dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow instructions from senior chefs during food preparation and service.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
- Support in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies.
- Adhere to hygiene, grooming, and food safety standards.
- Help maintain stock rotation and minimize wastage.
- Assist during buffet setup, banquets, and restaurant operations as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Food Production/Hotel Management preferred.
- 1–2 years of relevant kitchen experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
