Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher for IIT Foundation (Classes 6–7) who can introduce students to fundamental chemistry concepts and develop strong scientific thinking and problem-solving skills. The teacher will focus on building a strong conceptual foundation for competitive exams such as IIT-JEE, NTSE, and Science Olympiads.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry concepts for IIT Foundation to Classes 6 and 7.
- Develop students’ conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and practice questions.
- Conduct simple experiments and demonstrations to make learning interactive.
- Organize quizzes, tests, and assessments to evaluate student performance.
- Provide doubt-clearing sessions and individual academic support.
- Encourage students to participate in Science Olympiads and competitive exams.
- Maintain student academic records and performance reports.
- Use activity-based and concept-oriented teaching methods to explain chemistry topics.
- Participate in academic meetings, training sessions, and curriculum planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Science.
- B.Ed preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong fundamental knowledge of Chemistry.
- Ability to explain chemical concepts through simple examples and experiments.
- Good communication and teaching skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge for preparing teaching materials and reports.
Experience
- 1–5 years of teaching experience in Chemistry or IIT Foundation programs preferred.
- Freshers with strong Chemistry background and teaching interest may also apply.
Additional Information
- Candidates with experience in Olympiad preparation or competitive exam coaching will be preferred.
- Should be passionate about teaching and mentoring young learners.
