Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced *Air Pricing Manager* with a strong background in the freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in air freight pricing, airline negotiations, procurement, and handling customer quotations while ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end air freight pricing for import and export shipments.
* Procure competitive freight rates from airlines, consolidators, and overseas agents.
* Prepare accurate and timely quotations for the sales team and customers.
* Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with airlines and other vendors.
* Monitor market trends, airline capacity, and freight rate fluctuations.
* Handle RFQs, tenders, and pricing for key accounts.
* Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth execution.
* Maintain pricing databases, carrier tariffs, and internal rate sheets.
* Ensure maximum profitability while maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with airline partners and overseas agents.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 8-10 years of experience* in *Air Freight Pricing* with a reputed Freight Forwarding/Logistics company.
* Strong knowledge of international air freight operations, pricing, routing, and airline networks.
* Proven experience in airline/vendor negotiations.
* Good understanding of import/export documentation and freight forwarding processes.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* Proficient in MS Excel and freight forwarding software/ERP.
Preferred Background
* Experience working with leading freight forwarding companies.
* Existing relationships with airlines and consolidators will be an added advantage.
* Ability to work independently and handle high-value customer pricing requirements.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
