Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Warehouse Helper to join our logistics team.In this role, you will assist with daily warehouse operations, including receiving shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for delivery.A strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork is required to maintain smooth day-to-day warehouse workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving & Unloading: Assist in unloading incoming trucks and containers. Inspect items for visible damage, verify quantities against purchase orders, and sign off on delivery paperwork.
- Inventory & Stacking: Move, organize, and stack incoming stock onto designated shelves, racks, or pallets according to company guidelines.
- Order Fulfillment: Locate and retrieve specific merchandise from storage to accurately fulfill customer, shipping, or delivery orders.
- Packing & Shipping: Pack, wrap, and label items securely to prepare them for safe transit. Assist in loading outgoing delivery vans and freight trucks.
- Inventory Control: Help conduct regular physical stock counts, log inventory details, and report any discrepancies or missing items to supervisors.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate manual or motorized warehouse equipment
- Facility Maintenance: Keep work zones, aisles, and loading docks clean, tidy, and free of hazards by sweeping, mopping, and discarding trash regularly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a warehouse worker, helper, or material handler is a plus but not strictly required.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in matching order numbers, counting stock, and inspecting product quality.
- Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to workplace safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
