About the Role
AFAQ GROUP is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the complete day-to-day operations of Hotel Lake View. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in end-to-end hotel operations, front office management, OTA platforms, revenue growth, guest satisfaction, and team leadership.
The candidate must be capable of improving operational efficiency, increasing occupancy, driving revenue, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the complete end-to-end operations of the hotel.
- Oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Security, and Guest Relations.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day hotel operations and maintain high service standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase hotel occupancy and revenue.
- Manage and optimize OTA platforms such as Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Agoda, Expedia, Airbnb, and other online travel portals.
- Monitor room inventory, pricing, availability, and promotional campaigns across OTA platforms.
- Coordinate with the sales and marketing team to maximize bookings and improve hotel visibility.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
- Monitor online guest reviews and implement corrective measures to improve ratings.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and revenue reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and hospitality industry standards.
- Manage staff scheduling, performance monitoring, training, and team development.
- Control operational costs while maintaining quality service.
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure uninterrupted hotel operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and statutory regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Hotel Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of complete hotel operations and hospitality management.
- Hands-on experience in Front Office Operations and Guest Relations.
- Excellent knowledge of OTA platforms (Booking.com, Agoda, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Expedia, Airbnb, etc.).
- Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Channel Managers.
- Strong understanding of hotel revenue management and occupancy optimization.
- Proven ability to increase hotel sales, occupancy, and profitability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple departments efficiently.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working in a 3-Star or above hotel.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead teams, improve operational efficiency, and achieve business targets.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven professional.
Salary
₹4.5 LPA – ₹6.0 LPA (Based on experience and interview performance.)
