Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Scientist – Organic Synthesis & Material Development to lead the design, synthesis, characterization, and application of novel organic compounds and advanced materials. The role involves translating laboratory research into scalable technologies for applications in healthcare, sustainability, energy, agriculture, and industrial sectors.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in organic chemistry, material science, formulation development, and product innovation, with a passion for developing next-generation solutions that address real-world challenges.
Key ResponsibilitiesResearch & Development
- Design and synthesize novel organic molecules, polymers, biomaterials, and functional compounds.
- Develop advanced materials with enhanced mechanical, thermal, chemical, and biological properties.
- Conduct structure-property relationship studies to optimize material performance.
- Develop sustainable and environmentally friendly materials for commercial applications.
- Lead laboratory-scale research projects from concept to prototype development.
Material Characterization & Analysis
- Perform characterization using analytical techniques such as:
- NMR Spectroscopy
- FTIR
- UV-Vis Spectroscopy
- HPLC
- GC-MS
- LC-MS
- DSC/TGA
- SEM/TEM
- XRD
- Analyze material properties including:
- Thermal stability
- Mechanical strength
- Surface properties
- Chemical resistance
- Biocompatibility
Product Development
- Develop formulations and materials for:
- Biodegradable products
- Biomedical applications
- Functional coatings
- Sustainable packaging
- Specialty chemicals
- Smart materials
- Agricultural inputs
- Optimize manufacturing processes for scalability and commercialization.
- Support pilot-scale production and technology transfer activities.
Innovation & Intellectual Property
- Generate innovative concepts and research proposals.
- Prepare technical reports, publications, patents, and invention disclosures.
- Conduct literature reviews and technology scouting to identify emerging trends.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on product innovation initiatives.
Regulatory & Quality Compliance
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards and quality systems.
- Maintain accurate research documentation and experimental records.
- Support regulatory submissions and technical dossiers where applicable.

Experience
