We are looking for a dynamic Proposal & Marketing Engineer with experience in preparing techno-commercial proposals for material handling or industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing RFQs, preparing layouts, BOQs, quotations, and cost estimations, and supporting the sales/marketing team with accurate and competitive proposals. The role requires good technical understanding along with strong coordination and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze RFQs (Request for Quotations) from customers.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and quotations based on customer requirements.
- Develop project layouts and proposal drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and detailed cost estimations.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to gather technical inputs for proposals.
- Ensure proposals comply with customer specifications and technical requirements.
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations within the specified timelines.
- Support the marketing and sales team in technical discussions with clients.
- Maintain records of proposals, quotations, and project documentation.
- Assist in tender preparation and bid submissions.
Required Skills
- Experience handling RFQs and tender documents
- Ability to prepare Techno-Commercial Proposals
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and cost estimation
- Experience in quotation preparation and pricing analysis
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for proposal layouts
- Good understanding of industrial projects / material handling systems (preferred)
- Strong analytical, coordination, and documentation skills
Education
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

- Experience in conveyor systems / material handling industry
