Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Resident in Ophthalmology to join our department. The candidate will provide comprehensive ophthalmic care, assist in surgical procedures, participate in academic activities, and contribute to patient management in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and manage patients with ophthalmic disorders.
- Conduct outpatient (OPD), inpatient (IPD), emergency, and specialty clinic services.
- Perform ophthalmic procedures and assist in major and minor eye surgeries.
- Evaluate and manage pre-operative and post-operative patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, seminars, CMEs, and departmental meetings.
- Guide and supervise junior residents, interns, and allied healthcare staff.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
- Participate in research, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Take emergency and on-call duties as per departmental roster.
Qualifications
- MS/DNB in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the appropriate Medical Council.
- Relevant experience in ophthalmology is preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month
