About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Buying House Merchandiser with strong expertise in the High Fashion/Apparel industry. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience handling international buyers, coordinating with vendors, managing product development, and ensuring timely execution of orders while maintaining premium quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete merchandising activities from product development to final shipment.
- Coordinate with international buyers regarding product specifications, costing, sampling, approvals, and production timelines.
- Manage multiple high-fashion apparel orders simultaneously while ensuring timely deliveries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers, vendors, and manufacturing units.
- Follow up on sample development, approvals, fabric sourcing, trims, and accessories.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure compliance with buyer quality standards.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers while maintaining profitability targets.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure quality standards throughout production.
- Prepare T&A (Time & Action) calendars and monitor order progress.
- Resolve production issues proactively to avoid shipment delays.
- Work closely with design, sourcing, production, and logistics teams.
- Ensure all documentation related to orders, shipping, and compliance is maintained accurately.
- Stay updated with international fashion trends, fabrics, and market requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of merchandising experience in a Buying House handling High Fashion Apparel.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes.
- Experience working with international buyers such as Zara, H&M, Mango, Next, Primark, C&A, Bestseller, Inditex, or similar brands is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of fabric sourcing, garment construction, trims, and costing.
- Strong understanding of quality standards and production planning.
- Ability to independently manage multiple buyers and large-volume orders.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and merchandising software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Experience in woven, knit, or women's high-fashion garments will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹10,236.07 - ₹50,000.00 per month
