Job Description – Printer Engineer

Job Summary
The Printer Engineer will be responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various types of printers (LaserJet, Inkjet, MFPs, etc.) provided on rental or AMC to clients. The role demands a high level of technical expertise, customer service, and the ability to work independently at client locations.
Key Responsibilities
· Install and configure printers and MFPs (multi-function printers) at client sites
· Perform preventive maintenance and resolve technical issues (hardware/software)
· Handle toner replacement, and print quality checks
· Provide on-site and remote support for printer malfunctions
· Maintain daily logs and service reports
· Coordinate with logistics and operations team for device delivery and pickup
· Educate end-users on basic troubleshooting and printer care
· Maintain inventory records of parts, consumables, and tools
· Assist in setting up network/shared printers in office environments
· Provide feedback to the service team for recurring issues and process improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
· ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Computer Hardware, or equivalent
· 1–3 years of experience in printer servicing and support
· Familiarity with HP, Canon, Konica printers preferred
· Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
· Knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and driver installations
· Good communication skills (English/Hindi/Regional)
· Willingness to travel locally and occasionally inter-city
Additional Preferences
· Experience in laptop support will be an added advantage
· Customer-focused and proactive attitude
· Two-wheeler with license preferred for local travel
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
