Role description
Position Information: Roles(s): Technical Product Owner Role Locations(s): Bangalore Role Scope / Deliverables: Responsibilities Own and prioritize the product backlog based on stakeholder needs, engineering input, delivery capacity, and business value. Translate business goals and process pain points into user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint priorities, and release plans in partnership with Product Managers and engineering. Act as the day-to-day translator between functional stakeholders and engineering; keep requirements specific enough to build and flexible enough to iterate. Support discovery and solution design by clarifying the business problem, target users, expected outcomes, data needs, and value measures. Partner with engineering and relevant governance partners to confirm data readiness, solution feasibility, and responsible use of AI capabilities. Coordinate delivery routines including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, UAT, dependency tracking, issue resolution, and release readiness. Work with users to validate prototypes, run pilots, gather feedback, and refine the product through successive iterations. Identify opportunities to reuse patterns, data assets, workflows, prompts, agents, and product components across functions instead of rebuilding from zero. Key Skills: Experience 10+ years of overall experience in Enterprise scale Digital product development and delivery 3+ years of experience as a product owner, business analyst, data analyst, technology analyst, or agile delivery lead working on data, analytics, automation, or digital products. Ability to understand functional processes in at least one enterprise domain such as Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Care, Quality, Services, or Operations. Strong ability to break ambiguous business problems into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery increments. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, including business stakeholders, engineers, data teams, program managers, and governance partners. Working knowledge of agile delivery practices: backlog management, sprint planning, demos, testing, and release coordination. Comfortable with data and AI concepts: source systems, data quality, data pipelines, semantic layers, dashboards, APIs, LLMs, agents, prompts, human-in-the-loop workflows, and responsible AI controls. Hands-on experience with tools and platforms such as Jira, Monday.com, Power BI, SQL, Excel, process mapping tools, or similar product and analytics platforms. Strong facilitation and communication skills; able to synthesize decisions and keep technical and non-technical stakeholders aligned. Practical orientation toward measurable outcomes: adoption, usability, workflow fit, value realization, and scaling what works. Preferred: exposure to cloud data platforms, lakehouse/warehouse concepts, CRM, ERP, supply chain, finance, quality, or service systems in a global or regulated environment. Education Bachelor s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
