Job purpose
The CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Engineer is responsible for the programming, operation, and maintenance of CMM equipment used to measure and inspect auto components. The role involves ensuring precision and accuracy in measurements to meet the company's quality standards and customer requirements.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and execute CMM programs to inspect complex auto components.
- Operate CMM equipment to perform precise measurements of parts and assemblies.
- Verify the accuracy of CMM programmes and make necessary adjustments.
- Conduct thorough inspections of auto components using CMM and other metrology tools.
- Interpret and analyse measurement data to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances.
- Perform first article inspections and provide detailed inspection reports.
- Collaborate with the quality and engineering teams to address measurement and inspection-related issues.
- Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conforming parts.
- Maintain documentation of inspection results and measurement data.
Qualifications
· Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
· Proven experience in operating a Mitutoyo machine.
· Proficiency in quality control methodologies, tools, and software.
· Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
