Job Description:
Heartlyn Pharmacy is seeking a responsible, customer-focused Pharmacist or Pharmacist Aide to support the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the pharmacy. The successful candidate will assist with prescription processing, customer service, inventory management, medication preparation, and general pharmacy operations while maintaining high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and process prescriptions and medication orders accurately.
Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation, dispensing, labeling, and packaging as permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
Verify patient information and maintain accurate pharmacy records.
Provide friendly and professional service to patients and answer routine medication-related questions within the scope of the position.
Refer clinical questions, prescription concerns, or situations requiring professional judgment to the pharmacist.
Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving, organizing, stocking, and monitoring medications and supplies.
Check stock levels and assist with identifying products that need to be reordered.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
Handle cash, billing, insurance information, or pharmacy software as required.
Protect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality of medical and personal information.
Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
Assist with maintaining appropriate records for controlled and other regulated medications, where applicable.
Support pharmacists and other pharmacy staff with day-to-day operations.
Perform other duties reasonably assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist-in-Charge.
Qualifications For Pharmacist:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), or other legally recognized pharmacy qualification.
Current pharmacist registration/license as required by the applicable regulatory authority.
Strong knowledge of medications, prescriptions, dosage forms, and pharmacy practices.
Good communication, customer handling skills.
For Pharmacist Aide / Pharmacy Assistant:
High school education or relevant pharmacy assistant/aide training preferred.
Previous pharmacy, healthcare, retail, or customer-service experience is an advantage.
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn pharmacy software.
Ability to accurately handle medication names, quantities, labels, and patient information.
Must work under the supervision and direction of a licensed pharmacist where required by law.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
