Location: Thane, Maharashtra
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support our finance and administrative operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to efficiently manage day-to-day office administration activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Review, reconcile, and maintain financial records and transactions.
- Process vendor payments and maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and expenses.
- Perform daily bookkeeping and accounting activities using Tally.
- Ensure proper filing, scanning, and documentation of financial and administrative records.
- Coordinate procurement activities, inventory management, and shipment tracking.
- Handle office administration tasks including correspondence, scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and vendor coordination.
- Conduct banking-related activities and statutory documentation as required.
- Support various operational and administrative functions to ensure smooth business operations.
- Travel locally for banking, document submissions, vendor visits, and other official administrative requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Comfortable traveling within the city for official banking and administrative work.
- Prior experience in accounting and office administration will be an added advantage.
