Build and maintain cross-platform fantasy sports mobile apps using React Native (iOS + Android). Implement features like real-time scoring, team creation, contests, leaderboards, live updates, and payments. Integrate sports data APIs, push notifications, analytics, and secure auth/payment flows.
Optimize performance, state management (Redux/Context), and UI responsiveness. Handle full app deployment to Google Play Store and Apple App Store (builds, certificates, submissions, updates).
Debug, test, and collaborate with backend/product teams. We are seeking a skilled React Native Developer to build and maintain high-performance, cross-platform fantasy sports mobile applications for iOS and Android.
The role involves developing real-time, user-centric features such as live scoring, contests, leaderboards, payments, and push notifications, while ensuring seamless performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
You will work closely with backend and product teams to deliver engaging app experiences, manage state efficiently, and handle end-to-end app deployment across app stores. This position requires strong technical ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of React Native experience. Strong understanding of JavaScript/ES6+, TypeScript, and React Native components, hooks, and navigation (e.g., React Navigation).
Proven work on fantasy sports / gaming apps (similar to Dream11, MyTeam11, FanDuel, etc.) — real-time features, user contests, monetization. Strong knowledge of app store publishing processes (Play Console, App Store Connect, TestFlight, Fastlane a plus).
Experience with Redux/rtkquery, REST APIs. Proficiency in React Native CLI and Expo (as applicable) Tools and libraries: Jest for testing, ESLint for code quality, Firebase/Google Analytics for app monitoring. Knowledge of app security and performance best practices.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup-like setting Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Familiarity with modern UI libraries: gluestack, Tamagui, RNUIlib, or NativeBase for themable, performant, animated components. Good to have TypeScript proficiency. Experience with high-traffic, real-time apps. Passion for sports, gaming, or fantasy leagues is highly desirable. Experience with native modules and bridging for iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Java/Kotlin) when needed.
