Job Summary
The General Manager – Erection will be responsible for leading and overseeing all erection and site execution activities for PEB, structural steel, and industrial construction projects. The role requires strategic planning, project management, team leadership, client coordination, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution & Management
- Lead end-to-end erection activities for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prepare and monitor project execution schedules and resource plans.
- Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Review project progress and take corrective actions to meet project milestones.
Team Leadership
- Manage Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and Erection Teams.
- Monitor workforce productivity and optimize manpower utilization.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to site teams.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project execution matters.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal departments.
- Conduct project review meetings and provide status updates to management.
Quality & Safety Management
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and project specifications.
- Implement and enforce EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies at all project sites.
- Conduct regular site audits and safety reviews.
Budget & Cost Control
- Monitor project costs and control budget overruns.
- Optimize resource utilization to improve project profitability.
- Review subcontractor performance and commercial aspects of project execution.
Technical Responsibilities
- Review structural drawings, erection methodologies, and lifting plans.
- Resolve technical issues related to erection and site operations.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and statutory regulations.
Qualification
- M.Tech/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Additional Project Management certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 18–20+ years of experience in PEB, Structural Steel, Industrial Construction, or Heavy Engineering Projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role managing large-scale erection projects.

Compensation
CTC: ₹1.50 Lakhs – ₹2.00 Lakhs per Month (Based on Experience and Expertise)
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
