The Senior Analyst will be part of PO Team where you will leverage your skills and business acumen to achieve the organization and team goals.
Job Purpose:
We are actively looking for a Senior Merchandising PO Analyst to provide buying/work unit with efficient support for the item set up and PO creation work. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who can organize work priorities with supervision and responsibilities would also include taking independent decisions for low complexity problems. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, and creative problem solving skills
Summary & Job Functions:
The Senior Analyst leads end-to-end execution of the PO creation process, ensuring operational excellence, system accuracy, and cross-functional alignment. This role provides subject-matter expertise, drives process improvements, and supports critical milestones related to production and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End PO Execution

Own creation, review, and validation of complex or high-volume purchase orders in ERP/PO systems.

Manage PO revisions, cancellations, and change tracking with full audit compliance.

Ensure data accuracy across systems, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Monitor PO progress throughout the production lifecycle and anticipate risks.
2. Vendor & Cross-Functional Leadership

Partner with Vendors, Merchandising, Production, Sourcing, Planning, Finance, and Supply Chain to align on timelines, priorities, and data requirements.

Communicate PO updates, risks, and delivery changes to stakeholders.

Lead vendor communication for PO confirmations, clarifications, and issue resolution.

Support alignment with global sourcing calendars and production timelines.
3. Operational Excellence & Insights

Prepare enhanced PO dashboards, KPI tracking, and delivery performance analysis.

Analyze exceptions, variances, and delays; propose corrective actions.

Lead or support root-cause investigations for systemic PO issues.
4. Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement

Maintain, update, and help document PO related SOPs and workflows.

Identify and implement opportunities to reduce errors, streamline steps, or automate tasks.

Support onboarding and training for new hires or system upgrades.

Serve as a subject matter expert for PO creation and data governance.
Core Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

4+ years of experience in merchandising operations, product operations, sourcing, or supply chain.

Strong knowledge of PLM, ERP, or PO management systems.

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic modeling).

Experience working with global vendors and production calendars.

Proven ability to manage cross functional operations and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Retail, apparel, footwear, accessories, or home goods experience preferred.
