Position Overview:
As an Associate in the Stores Procurement department specializing in Power Distribution Products, your primary responsibility is to facilitate the acquisition, storage, and distribution of power distribution equipment and materials required for various projects and operations. You will be tasked with maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring timely procurement of products, and coordinating with suppliers to guarantee quality and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:
· Collaborate with procurement managers to identify power distribution product requirements based on project specifications and operational needs.
· Source potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, reliability, and pricing to ensure the procurement of high-quality products at competitive rates.
· Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards.
· Place purchase orders for power distribution products in accordance with organizational procurement policies and procedures.
· Maintain accurate records of inventory levels for power distribution products, including tracking stock levels, monitoring usage patterns, and forecasting future requirements.
· Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and excess inventory, optimizing storage space and minimizing carrying costs.
· Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
· Coordinate the timely delivery of power distribution products to designated locations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and operational requirements.
· Manage transportation logistics, including selecting carriers, arranging shipments, and tracking delivery progress to ensure on-time and efficient delivery.
· Oversee receiving processes at distribution points, verifying product quantities and quality upon receipt, and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
· Maintain accurate documentation related to procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, delivery receipts, and supplier contracts.
· Generate regular reports on procurement metrics, such as inventory levels, procurement costs, supplier performance, and lead times, to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
· Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for process improvement, and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualification & Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain management, preferably in the electrical or power distribution industry.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
