Job Description – Safety Officer
We are looking for a Safety Officer for deployment at Bhilai Steel Plant to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment across project sites and plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements and company guidelines.
- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
- Investigate incidents and recommend preventive measures.
Qualification:
- Diploma in Industrial Safety.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in large manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience in steel plants or heavy industries will be preferred.
Location: Bhilai Steel Plant
Contract: One-year tenure (extendable till project completion based on performance)
Joining: Immediate / As early as possible.
Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
