- Prepare detailed cost plans, budget estimates, and financial viability studies.
- Draft the Bill of Quantities (BoQ) by measuring and quantifying all required works and materials.
- Prepare and issue tender documentation to prospective subcontractors and suppliers.
- Analyze, evaluate, and negotiate quotations received from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Draft formal subcontract agreements, and contractual terms.
- Establish and manage comprehensive project cost control systems.
- Prepare and present regular Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and manage project cash flow and projected payment schedules.
- Conduct site measurements and interim valuations of work completed by subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit applications for payment (valuations) to the client.
- Certify and process subcontractor and supplier payment claims.
- Measure, value, and negotiate the cost implications of all design changes and site instructions (Variations).
- Maintain a detailed log of all project variations and their financial impact.
- Provide contractual advice to the project management team.
