Role Description
This is a full-time on-site internship role for an MBA Intern – Market Research & Healthcare Survey based in Berhampur, West Bengal. The intern will be responsible for conducting field surveys and market research with RMP (Registered Medical Practitioner) Healthcare Officers, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, diagnostic centers, and other healthcare stakeholders. The role involves collecting market insights, analyzing healthcare trends, preparing survey reports, identifying business opportunities, and supporting the business development team in expanding healthcare partnerships.
The internship provides practical exposure to healthcare market research, business strategy, customer engagement, and data analysis within the healthcare and technology industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits and market surveys across hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare centers in and around Berhampur, West Bengal
- Interact with RMP Healthcare Officers, doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare administrators to gather market insights
- Collect and analyze data related to healthcare services, digital adoption, patient management systems, and market requirements
- Prepare detailed survey reports, presentations, and market analysis documents
- Identify potential business opportunities and partnerships in the healthcare ecosystem
- Maintain accurate records of survey findings and stakeholder interactions
- Coordinate with internal business development and marketing teams
- Support promotional and awareness activities for healthcare technology solutions
- Monitor competitor activities and healthcare market trends
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA in Marketing, Healthcare Management, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English, Hindi, and Bengali/Odia preferred
- Ability to conduct field research and interact confidently with healthcare professionals
- Good analytical and report preparation skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel locally within Berhampur and nearby regions
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in market research, healthcare surveys, or business development is a plus
- Understanding of the healthcare ecosystem including hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and diagnostic centers
- Knowledge of digital healthcare solutions and healthcare technology trends
