Job Summary
MM Hospital is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to perform laboratory tests accurately, maintain laboratory equipment, and support clinicians in providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, label, and process patient samples.
- Perform routine laboratory investigations according to standard procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Record and verify test results accurately.
- Maintain quality control and follow laboratory safety protocols.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of laboratory specimens.
- Report abnormal or critical test results to the concerned doctor as per protocol.
- Maintain laboratory records and documentation.
- Monitor reagent and consumable stock and inform the supervisor of shortages.
- Follow NABH standards, infection control practices, and hospital policies.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT).
- Minimum 1–3 years of laboratory experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Knowledge of hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and sample processing.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
