We're seeking an experienced Senior IOS Engineer to drive the architecture and design of modernising our digital crew journey systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in latest IOS/swift stack, with a proven track record of solutions and mobile applications, working with large and complex systems, third parties and stakeholders and designing high available/scalable solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities
7+ years of experience with developing IOS applications, experience as senior software engineer, or tech lead
. Proven experience in complex greenfield iOS apps using SwiftUI as primary UI paradigm and Swift Data for persistence.
. Expertise leading troubleshooting and integration of external systems (APIs, Bluetooth devices, WiFi services) using structured concurrency.
. Experience of offline storage (Swift Data), threading), and performance optimization techniques.
. REST/GraphQL APIs, experience with Apple Push Notifications and Background Tasks.
. Deep knowledge of Swift Package Manager ecosystem and latest iOS libraries
. Current with latest iOS/Swift features (Xcode 26, Swift 6.2 strict concurrency, iOS 19+ SDK, VisionKit).
. Expert understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, SF Symbols 7, and SwiftUI design systems.
. Experience with Git/GitHub and GitHub Actions for iOS.
- Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and architecture principles.
- Strong knowledge of Network, Bluetooth, wifi and other required tech enablers
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. Deep proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI 6, Swift Data, Observation framework, and actors for concurrency.
. Strong experience with modern iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics & Core Text.
