Accountant Job in Surat | GST, TDS, Billing & Accounting
Position: Accountant
Location: Piplod, Surat, Gujarat
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
Experience Required: 1–3+ Years
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle billing, invoicing, and voucher processing accurately
- Manage purchase entries, sales entries, and vendor payment records
- Record and maintain bank transactions and accounting data
- Prepare and assist with GST and TDS workings and compliance activities
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records
- Support daily accounting and finance operations
- Ensure timely data entry and documentation of financial transactions
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for payment follow-ups and accounting queries
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of experience as an Accounts Assistant, Accountant, Accounts Executive, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of billing, invoice processing, bookkeeping, and accounting entries
- Practical experience in GST and TDS calculations and compliance
- Good understanding of purchase, sales, and bank accounting transactions
- Basic knowledge of accounts finalization
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently
- Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in Tally, Excel, or accounting software will be an advantage
