Job Description
JIET Gurukul is looking for a highly knowledgeable, passionate, and result-oriented Expert Chemistry Faculty to teach and mentor students preparing for IIT-JEE, NEET, and other competitive examinations.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject expertise and strong teaching abilities, with the capability to make complex Chemistry concepts simple, engaging, and easy to understand.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry to students preparing for IIT-JEE (Main & Advanced), NEET, and other competitive examinations.
- Develop strong conceptual understanding in Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry.
- Prepare students according to the competitive examination syllabus and pattern.
- Develop high-quality study material, notes, assignments, question banks, and test papers.
- Conduct regular tests, assessments, doubt-clearing sessions, and revision classes.
- Analyse student performance and provide individual academic guidance and mentoring.
- Develop effective teaching methodologies to improve student engagement and academic performance.
- Help students strengthen conceptual understanding, numerical ability, reaction mechanisms, and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate with the academic team for curriculum planning, test schedules, and academic activities.
- Motivate and mentor students to achieve their IIT-JEE, NEET, and academic goals.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Excellent command over Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry.
- Strong expertise in teaching students for IIT-JEE and/or NEET.
- Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to simplify complex Chemistry concepts.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Experience in developing competitive examination study material and test series.
- Ability to conduct doubt sessions and provide personalised academic mentoring.
- Strong passion for teaching and improving student outcomes.
Qualification
- Master's Degree in Chemistry or a relevant discipline.
- Ph.D. or relevant teaching qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with exceptional subject expertise and proven competitive examination teaching experience may also be considered based on their practical teaching skills and performance.
Experience
2–5 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
Candidates with proven experience in teaching IIT-JEE and/or NEET aspirants and a strong record of student performance will be given preference.
Salary
Competitive salary package based on experience, subject expertise, teaching performance, and student results.
