Key Responsibilities: -
- Record and process all financial transactions including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial data is accurately posted. –
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.-
-Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
-Generate reports on financial status, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, And cash flow statements.
-Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance matters.
- Liaise with auditors and tax consultants to ensure timely filing and audit of accounts
.- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Oversee accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and collections.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Review and improve accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Conduct financial analysis to support management decision-making.
- Provide insights into cost-saving measures and profitability improvements.
- Analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in the preparation for audits and coordinate with external auditors-
- Support the finance team with ad hoc financial projects and tasks. Train and mentor junior accounting staff as needed. |
Qualifications-
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ST-ERP).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. –
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. |
