Mandatory skills- NC Programming for Aerospace components using UG NX CAM application and validation through Vericut
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Interpreting project drawings to determine part specific requirements.
- Collaborating with engineering team members to ensure CNC programs align with project requirements.
- CNC machines set up to configure production.
- Ensuring precision and quality to maintain high standards in the manufacturing process.
- Conducting test runs before full production to ensure the CNC machines produce outputs according to specifications.
- Technology expertise for CNC machines, cutting tooling, fixtures development, validation and ensure its robustness in terms of capability, ergonomics, market trends and lifetime.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining problems related to CNC machinery in case of issue arises.
- Define Consumables and frequency assignment to ensure production continuity at the early stage of product validation.
- Technical leadership to ensure required Gauge R&R and Capability Studies are conducted on time.
- User Specific Requirements (machine specification) definition and execute at the procurement stage. Potential vendors technical assessment – (Added advantage).
- Leading Equipment validation, Acceptance test at supplier site & in the plant after delivery (FAT/SAT) and on-site qualification execution. – (Added advantage)
Deliverables: Process Planning, Cutting tool selection, NC Code Generation, Tool Path Generation, Tool Path Verification, URS documentation update, Part Prove out, Part Verification
