Job Title: QA/QC Engineer – Building Construction
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in material testing and quality assurance/quality control for building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and supervise quality control activities for building construction projects.
- Conduct and monitor material testing for concrete, steel, aggregates, cement, bricks, blocks, and other construction materials.
- Ensure all works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant standards.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and test records.
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and laboratories for inspections and testing.
- Identify quality issues, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely closure.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure adherence to quality procedures throughout project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC with a strong focus on material testing for building construction projects.
- Sound knowledge of IS codes, QA/QC procedures, and construction standards.
- Experience in preparing QA/QC documentation and coordinating inspections.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures and site quality inspections.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
