Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Stock Management
1)Oversee the end-to-end receipt, storage, and retrieval of goods.
2)Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure high stock accuracy and minimize loss. Implement stock rotation methods (e.g., FIFO) to maintain product quality.
Order Fulfillment & Dispatch
1)Coordinate with sales and customer service to ensure timely, error-free order processing.
2)Manage picking, packing, and shipping operations to hit daily delivery targets.
Team Leadership & Staffing Supervise
1)train, and schedule warehouse associates and shift workers.
2)Monitor team productivity and ensure compliance with the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Process Optimization
1)Analyze warehouse data to identify bottlenecks and reduce operational costs.
2)Implement organization techniques (like 5S) to optimize warehouse space utilization and layout planning .
Safety, Security & Compliance
1)Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines. Ensure all warehouse equipment (like forklifts) is properly maintained and safe to use.
2)Prepare the facility for regulatory, vendor, and safety audits.
System Operations & Reporting
1)Manage and update inventory data using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
2)Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) like pick times, error rates, and shipping accuracy.
Desired Candidate:
Typical Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration is highly preferred.
- Experience: Typically, 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in warehousing, 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), or inventory control.
- Certifications: Forklift certification or qualifications in Lean Warehousing (like 5S) are significant assets
