About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and energetic Business Development Intern to help expand our on-ground business presence in Gurgaon. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced startup environment.
The intern will work closely with the founding/business team to identify leads, conduct field visits, onboard partners/clients, and support overall business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits across Gurgaon to meet potential clients, partners, and businesses
- Generate and qualify new business leads through on-ground networking and outreach
- Present company offerings and explain value propositions effectively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Assist in market research and competitor analysis
- Coordinate follow-ups and maintain sales pipeline records
- Support business expansion and partnership activities
- Provide regular updates and reports on field activities
Requirements
- Must be currently based in Gurgaon or willing to travel extensively within Gurgaon
- Must own a vehicle (2-wheeler preferred) for daily field visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, self-motivated, and comfortable with field work
- Basic understanding of sales/business development is a plus
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Availability for immediate joining preferred
Preferred Skills
- Hindi and English communication proficiency
- Familiarity with Gurgaon local markets and commercial areas
- Prior sales, marketing, or customer-facing experience is an advantage
