Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify physician prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Dispense medications and provide dosage instructions to patients and medical staff
- Monitor patient medication therapies and identify potential drug interactions
- Maintain accurate patient medication records and pharmacy inventory
- Counsel patients and healthcare professionals on medication usage and side effects
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, legal regulations, and safety standards
- Participate in clinical rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
