Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) Developer to design, build, and enhance HR solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise combined with a solid understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management. This role will work closely with HR stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly HR services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement end-to-end HRSD solutions, including Employee Service Center, HR Case Management, HR Knowledge, and Lifecycle Events.
- Develop and customize HR services, record producers, catalog items, questionnaires, and HR profiles aligned with business requirements.
- Build and optimize workflows and automations using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
- Implement data security, HR data separation, role-based access, and compliance controls.
- Integrate HRSD with external systems (e.g., payroll, identity management, third-party HR tools) using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Collaborate with HR partners to translate functional requirements into technical designs and solution architectures.
- Support system testing, UAT, production deployments, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing enhancements.
- Maintain high-quality technical documentation and follow ServiceNow best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- CIS – HR Service Delivery Certification
- Strong hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow HRSD
- Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs)
- Experience with Flow Designer, ACLs, HR security, and scoped applications
- Strong understanding of HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Exposure to ITSM or CSM modules
- Experience with ServiceNow App Engine
- Prior consulting or enterprise implementation experience
