Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Coordinator with over 4 years of proven experience in the interior design industry. The ideal candidate should have strong client coordination skills, a deep understanding of design execution, site handling, materials, BOQ, and project workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate between clients, designers, contractors, and vendors
- Assist in preparing 2D drawings, 3D concepts, material selections, and samples
- Handle client meetings, presentations, and feedback
- Prepare BOQ, work schedules, and project timelines
- Ensure smooth execution of work at the site—monitor progress & quality
- Handle daily coordination with site supervisors and carpenters
- Maintain documentation, project files, and reporting
- Source materials and finalize selections with clients
- Resolve on-site issues and ensure design-to-execution accuracy
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in interior design coordination
- Strong understanding of residential/commercial interiors
- Excellent knowledge of materials: laminates, plywood, hardware, false ceiling, lighting, paint, etc.
- Ability to read and explain AutoCAD drawings
- Strong communication skills for client handling
- Vendor coordination & site management experience
- Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, and basic measurement understanding
- Time management and multitasking abilities
Preferred Background
- Experience in the Interior / Architecture / Modular Furniture industry
- Candidates with site execution knowledge preferred
- Diploma/degree in Interior Design / Architecture
